I DON’T KNOW HOW TO TELL YOU HOW AWESOME OUR ACLE WAS. /end
If you’d scroll down a bit, I reposted a poster re: Food Blogging, Let your tummy speak, an Alternative Classroom Learning Experience hosted by none other than the Philippine Association of Food Technologists - Alpha Chapter.
I’m sorry in advance if I’m only posting the photo above for this post. I’m only blogging through my phone and there’s no “upload another photo” feature. Haha anyway, it’s not the point.
We had two guest speakers, Miss Zel and Sir Jonel.
Miss Zel runs gluttononabudget.com. She is a senior copy-editor for a multimedia publication. She was so amazing and witty. I learned a lot from her regarding blogging. After hearing her talk, I was so devastated I wanted to shut down this blog. Mine still consists of crappy posts while hers has direction and substance. But she admitted her crappy posts were still available online. Geeez, is it an excuse that I have plenty of schoolwork for not updating my blog properly? I guess I have to work first on organizing my thoughts. Hahaha!
The next speaker was Sir Jonel, an IT instructor at Grace Christian College. He runs NomNomClub.com, LetsGoSago.com, BloggerManila.com, and GadgetGambit.com. While Miss Zel prefers no ads, his blog has so many ads. He opened up new ideas for me to do. I may look in the scientific side of food and then blog about it or look at new finds in the market. Since I got to ask the first question, I got a free Starbucks GC! Yey me! Thank you Sir Jonel! :)
Hit the Archives tab or go to bedtimepowder.tumblr.com/archive and I posted a few reviews on small restaurants near UP. Then, I wanted to start a separate food blog, still Tumblr based. But I scrapped the idea since I wasn’t sure whether I’d be able to keep it. It was and still is hard for me to go out and try new restos due to schedule and economic restraints. But after hearing them, I might just start one. Soon. :D
Do check out their food blogs: gluttononabudget.com and nomnomclub.com.
